The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed, has said that management is working assiduously to improve staff welfare.
He stated this when he paid an inspection visit to the CRDP staff quarters of the University on Thursday, where renovation work is being undertaken on some of the buildings.
Professor Suleiman said that management is not oblivious of the dilapidated nature of the staff quarters where the University staff reside. This informed their decision to embark on a phase-by-phase renovation of staff quarters in the University, starting with the CRDP Quarters, last renovated in 2005.
Professor Suleiman noted that other Staff Quarters of the University will soon be renovated to create a conducive environment for the staff.
He expressed satisfaction with the quality of work done and thanked members of the committee who oversee the renovation work for their dedication and vigilance in ensuring that standards are not compromised.
