The Directorate of Linkages and International Cooperation, Nasarawa State University, Keffi, has presented three books translated from the Polish language to English, to the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State and Visitor to the University, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule.
Presenting the books to the governor at the government house Lafia, the Director of Linkages and International Cooperation, Dr. K'tso Ngharbu, said the milestone achieved by the University is the first to be recorded by any public or private tertiary institution in Nigeria.
Dr. K'tso hailed the role played by the governor in the successful translation of the three books, stating that the book will seek to grant more access to knowledge for the benefit of scholars, researchers and society in general.
The three books, Criminology, International Perspectives, Story of Suicidology, and Fundamentals of Criminal Sociology, have their forewards written by Governor Abdullahi A. Sule, former Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, and the Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed respectively.
Accompanying Dr. K'tso to the presentation ceremony is the Director, Institute of Governance and Development Studies, Professor Andrew Zamani, who represented the Vice-Chancellor, and the Deputy Director Centre for Cyberspace Studies, Dr. Habiba Musa.
