The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed, has charged outgoing Corps members who served in the University to be good ambassadors of the University.
Professor Suleiman made the charge at a send forth ceremony organised for Batch “B” 2020 Stream I NYSC Members at the Senate Chamber of the University on Friday.
The Vice Chancellor urged the outgoing corps members to consider themselves as stakeholders of the University and should not hesitate to draw the management's attention to any wrongdoing they notice for a quick resolution.
In his remark, the Dean of Students Affairs, Dr. Abdullahi Modibbo, informed the gathering that the outgoing 45 corps members served the University diligently without any conflict, noting that they were the best, having been carefully selected.
Dr. Modibbo singled out Dr. Ibezie Uchenna, who served with the University Health Centre for special recognition for organising a free Hepatitis Screening exercise for members of the University community, a gesture he described as humanitarian and unprecedented.
Highlights of the event were the presentation of commendation letters to the deserving outgoing Corp members by the Vice-Chancellor and the Dean, Students Affairs.
